A group of lucky Indian students will be given the chance to meet their sporting heroes before they take to the Adelaide Oval pitch this week.
Twenty international students will meet the Indian cricket team when they arrive in town for their clash with Australia.
Education Adelaide CEO Denise von Waldsaid more than 5100 Indian students were studying in SA - a 95 per cent increase since the last time the Indian cricket team touched down in Adelaide in 2008.
“Many of these students could never hope to meet their Indian cricketing heroes back in India, so we thought it would be wonderful to tee up a meeting between the cricketers and their young fans here in Adelaide,” she said.
The students will also receive free tickets to the third day of the Test on Thursday (January 26).
